DaVinci House at QASMT is proud to announce our upcoming charity event, DaVinci Dessert Day, an initiative dedicated to supporting Canteen, a charity that offers vital assistance to teenagers and young adults impacted by cancer. At DaVinci, we value the spirit that unites us and drives our sense of belonging, teamwork, and purpose. By hosting DaVinci Dessert Day, we are taking an active role in supporting young people facing immense health challenges, demonstrating our house's commitment to making a tangible difference in their lives.

Every dessert sold during this event is more than just a treat; it’s a step toward providing critical resources and support for Canteen's work with young cancer patients and their families. Through our fundraising efforts, we aim not only to raise funds but also to increase awareness of the emotional and physical challenges young people with cancer endure. As a house, we stand in solidarity with these brave individuals, acknowledging their strength and resilience, and we are committed to contributing to a cause that aligns with our core values.

I am standing up to cancer with Canteen

I am fundraising to ensure all young Aussies impacted by cancer continue to receive the support they need during this difficult and isolating time.

Whether dealing with their own diagnosis, a close family member’s cancer, or the death of a loved one; with your help, Canteen will be in their corner.

Cancer affects everyone differently. That’s why Canteen provides a wide range of free support services including social connection events and programs, free counselling, 24/7 online support for young people and parents, access to free resources and specialist support for young cancer patients.
